Messy Exploration – messy play for toddlers

If your toddler attends a messy play class in Harrogate, Skipton, Ilkley or Long Preston don’t be surprised if you encounter some messy scientists enjoying the fun too!  This Autumn our fantastic franchisee in Harrogate and Craven, launches her messy science exploration box for older messy monkeys who can’t get enough of messy play!

Amanda, franchisee for Harrogate and Craven, said “Toddlers in Harrogate and Craven love the Messy Monkeys approach to messy play – it’s free, unstructured and super relaxed giving them all the space they need to get stuck in and get creative.  I’ve started to realise that some of our older monkeys are ready to take messy play to the next level and so I’m excited to be introducing them to some fantastic messy science activities too!”

Messy play is fantastic for developing an understanding of science – for babies and toddlers exploring different textures and materials helps them understand the mechanics of the world around them.  For older children messy play also plays a vital role, in allowing them to experiment, theorise, hypothesis and explore without worrying about getting told off for making a mess!

“What happens if…” is our favourite questions to hear from our little explorers as they enjoy our unique approach to messy play and now, in Harrogate, Skipton, Ilkley or Long Preston we should be hearing it even more!
